Remember, We Forget.

Some may be wondering the purpose of this blog. As titled, it is to remember where it is we come from.

It is to remember, the most important thing of all – that we forget.

We forget how it is we came to be here, and so we forget where it is we come from. And in forgetting this, we lose something more than a memory, we lose an element of our humanity.

Because when we forget, the line that separates right from wrong becomes blurred. And in the fog, the unthinking confusion, we cross that line.

It starts with a lie, “That’s ‘just’ how it is” – it’s inconsenquential, we lie to ourselves. It cannot be changed, we lie to ourselves – and so we forget that it can be changed. We forget that it was not always this way.

This blog is important; as we age memories fade away, only record of them can ensure they will be passed on. I have not met a single soul who can recall the day they were born. We all forget where we come from, here I write so that we may remember. Look to the children who are born now, as you before; they are naked.

We are all born without clothes, without wealth, without reputation or authority. Whether born into the countryside or the city, man or woman, whatever the colour of your eyes, skin and hair – you are the same as I, as all other men and women alike.

Beliefs change, knowledge does not. So I may, or may not, believe in Adam and Eve – but I know that we have free will.

Our society, as we choose it to be, is a lie. It is a con, a paradox. We all know this, and we cannot change what we know. And so, knowing we have free choice, most choose to believe in the lie. Most put their faith in it, despite knowing the truth.

So, what is the point?

Society itself, just as our faith in it, is a creation of mankind. Most have confided in the aristocracy, and so they choose to believe that they are being weighed down upon by them. Yet, the truth – we all know – a structure is nothing without its foundations. Those at the bottom of society prop-up those at the top. Fear, conformance and cowardice fuels the greed and incompetence of the ruling classes.

The Choice

The truth, is The Choice. Truth does not change, only your belief.

You can choose to believe the propaganda, which feeds your fears. But before you do, ask yourself: If it is undeniably true, why do they feel the need to shout it so loudly, again and again?

You can choose to believe you are powerless against corruption, which uses force to impose itself. But before you do, ask yourself: What would happen if nobody were scared of these clowns, what would happen if we all stood up to the tyrants?

You can choose to believe that this is how it must be, that there is no other way. But that is all it is, a belief. The truth, which in our souls we all know, doesn’t care for our beliefs. You decide your future; dont believe so – then somebody else will decide it for you.
